I Bought Open Box Hercules Game Theater for 89.60 at Best Buy

However, Im really disappointed with it so far. My SB Live Value sound quality blows it away. Where are the treble and bass controls??????

I just installed it so I will give it chance. Any advice on how to manipulate the treble and bass?

OK....Im starting to like this card..............DVD performance with Power Dvd is excellent. Now if I can find away to adjust the treble and bass I will be set

The drivers includes the EQ. Using that is actually WAY more effective then using only a bass and treble control. BTW, Hercules has new drivers on their site you might wanna check out.

I checked out the specs and reviews on the Game Theater XP and I really like it. However, I'm stuck with a Live card until either SoundFonts get supported by other sound cards (most probably never), or DLS becomes so widely popular that you can easily download high quality DLS samples (e.g. 64MB banks and individual high-quality stereo instruments) and is supported by major MIDI software (e.g. Cakewalk Pro Audio).

I have the Game Theater and Over All I like it except that I have not been able to find a way to get it to play CD's, Hollywood Plus or my TC Card thru all 4 channels it works thru all 4 with games or Windows Media player or software DVD players but no go thru any of the Analog channels. I had the same problem with the SB Live but was able to get it to work by changing the record source in Creative recorder(not actually record just change where it would record from)and it would send to all 4 speakers Weird Huh !!!!
