I remember there was a thread about these colorful socket A hsf that were selling for pretty cheap at www.iocombo.com and I bought one that cost $5.99. When I opened it up, I was like whoa! This HSF is pretty big and when I installed it, guess what? It didn't work! The fan should start up and spin for a second and I would see the color for that split second then my computer would shut off. I'm guessing that his hsf wasn't applying enough air to keep the cpu cool because when I switched it with another hsf, the computer booted up and it worked fine.
Also, I had to bend the clips a little to fit, otherwise, it would of been too short to fit into the socket. Boooohoooo!!!! Did this hsf work fine for anyone else?
