Sweet car! Though I'm not crazy for the kit; I like the TRD kit they had a while back for it.. I wish I could get a Supra; well, I could but since my mom is paying for half my car, she'd probably say no in a heartbeat.. There's been a few NA Supras in my area for around $14-17k, good condition, etc.

Nice car! Toyota makes a good product and Supras were/are one of the best.

An ex girlfrend of mine had one, wouldnt take it out in the rain. Since I wouldnt take my car out in the rain either, we stayed home a LOT. Wink-Wink_nudge-Nudge

the kit is a bit flashy for me, i'm not a kid anymore ;)

as for you being able to afford such a car and the insurance at your age......

also, the world's fastest supra's may be auto but isn't that strictly for drag? what about on an actual road course?

Sweet looking car, but the rims are FUGLY.

rims make a car though, so if the car looks sweet but the rims don't, it makes the rims stand out like a sore thumb..
if i had that car i'd put some nice 18's on it which would make it look PHAT.

Bowman -

Where in Tx are you? I can line you up some races easy...

That said, its fugly. I liked the looks on my 86' Olds better than that kit. Its simply nasty. Big mouth bumper, nasty side skirts... don't even get me started on the wing. That thing is a disgrace to supras, NA or TT.

If I were you, I'd off the kit and sell it to some idiot on egay. Use the $ to do suspension work and get it repainted. I hope you plan on replacing a lot of things once you drop the turbo on it. Your going to blow hoses and lines left and right since the car already has 100k on it.

Please, learn to drive it responsibly. Its a big, heavy car and there was a guy in my HS who had one. He jumped a curb and few into someones house. He was lucky to be alive and lucky he didn't kill anyone.
