I bought a motherboard combo from monarch and it turns out they sent me dead motherboard. I talked to the tech department and they offered to repair it. At the time it seemed like a good idea but now I'm wondering how long is it going to take them to "repair" it along with shipping. Anyway I have not been able to get a hold of them so my question is does anyone know if I can get a refund on my combo and how long their repairs usually take?

Well from my experiences Monarch is a very responsible company. I received a dead socket A mobo a while back and they tried to repair it, couldn't or maybe it would take too long and sent me a brand new working one (that's still kickin!). I think it took about a week to get my new one.

A week isn't bad. I was hoping they issued refunds because I could have my system running by Tuesday if they did. Looks like I will have to wait.

I got my combo from Monarch, the motherboard ran fine for a week before all the USB ports died on me. I sent it back to Monarch, they emailed me everyday informing me of progress. Turns out they got the USB ports to work, but they ran into some other issues (froze while installing WinXP) so they replaced it anyway. I sent it to them last Thursday, they mailed it back out yesterday. I only had to pay for shipping to.
