I bought a Vid Card I don't Need

I bought a 6600gt from ZipZoomFly on the 7th of April for my new rig. It runs nice and all but the last PC I bought I went mid range on the graphics and was not happy. At the same time I couldn?t justify paying out 350-500 bucks for a decent high end card.

Well a great deal dropped for the x800 XL video card at 249 I had to jump all over it. I figured it hasn?t been a month I'll just return the Leadtek Winfast 6600gt I got for 190. Well I called ZipZoomfly and it turns out, in big letters it says NO RETURNS ON THIS ITEM in beg red letters. I tried and pulled all the stops to get a refund to no avail. Well my "new" card shipped out now I'm stuck with 2 PCI Express cards and one computer. 60 dollars for more for a HUGE performance increase made sense, but now it's like I should have bought a 6800 ULTRA or something because I?m stuck with an extra card. I everything that is included with the card wires games box and manuals EVERYTHING.

I'm not rich; I'm actually pretty hard up for cash. What should I do?

Oh, and for the all you flamers out there. !

1. Yes it I know it wasn?t a smart move.
2. I don?t deserve a thing.
3. I'm looking for help; I?m not trying to make people feel sorry for me just some friendly advice...

I'll it off your hands by paying shipping.

Or you can put a set price on it and sell it in the FS/FT section.

You expected to be able to return a non defective video card that you'd been using for nearly a month just because you felt like upgrading?

Anyway, sell the 6600GT on FS/FT & next time don't be such an idiot.

Alternatively you might consider refusing shipment of the new card.

Sell it on FS/FT, or to a friend, or on Ebay. You probably won't get 100% of what you spent on it, but you will get fair market value for it.

Yeah, I'm in a similar situation. I bought a ATI AIW X800XT, had issues with the capture part of it (thought it was my comp) so I traded it to a friend for his X800PRO and some cash. Then I went out and bought a X800XT Sapphire, now I have this X800PRO just hanging around, nobody seems to want it, and I could really use that $300 lol

Should have thought about that before you bought the XT. Damn makes me wonder what is going through you people's mind sometimes. Of course nobody is going to buy one for 300 when you can get a new one cheaper.

Sell it on FS/FT for $20 less than you paid including shipping

I.E., if you paid $230 total, offer it for $205-210 SHIPPED

I agree with the general consensus that you should just learn from your mistake, sell it for what you can get for it, write it off as a loss, and move on with your life. I'm simply posting to raise my postcount.

Why did you buy an X800XT when you had an X800Pro? How much is the performance difference to be worth $300?

Sell your kidneys.

Lungs are also a good option.

If your female (Or male and extremely actractive), prostitution is an option.

Drug muleing can also be lucritive.

that made me spit water out of my mouth a little bit. that was down to earth and to the point right up until the end, and it turned into a big piece of awesomeness. :D
