I bought a Sony Xperia Z3 Friday morning: First Impressions

Count me in the crowd that are impressed by Sony's battery management like Bateluer. I received my Z Ultra, and while its battery is not amazing like Bateluer's Z3's, I can attest to the trend that is seen on Sony's devices these days. Z Ultra has a much larger display to light up so its on-screen time is not as great (it is certainly not below average), but its standby performance is simply the best I have seen. Even the Nexus devices do not have this kind of standby hours.

What is interesting is that on Sony's phones, things like Google Play Services, Google Service Framework, etc., use a lot less battery than what I have seen on other Android devices. On a lot of Galaxys and Nexi I see Google-related stuff eating up as much battery as the screens. Not on Sony's.
