I can see stuffing it into my hydration pack (if I had one), that could work if I had a Pebble or a Gear to go with it. Thanks.
Heh I do use my Note 3 with a Pebble - not super useful, but it does let me know which notifications are worth picking up my phone for. Also - I used to miss a bunch of vibrations when the phone is in my pocket - you definitely can't miss it when your wrist vibrates.
I also get a little benefit by being able to change the phone from sound to vibrate via the Pebble as well as control Pandora (since it doesn't response to the double click on my headphones like other music apps).
In using the Pebble for a bit, I actually totally get why Samsung went the direction they did with the Gear. Having to still pick up my phone to respond to anything, including calls, makes it only half useful. However, it really seems like the hardware isn't quite there yet - but next year may be pretty interesting for more feature filled smartwatches.
