This camera takes either the floppies or a memory stick. I went ahead and bought a 64 Meg stick too. I wanted to buy a Cybershot camera but this camera will work best for me and the wife because of it using floppies. This will be much easier for her to use with her business and trying to hook it up to 2 computers all the time using the USB port between our PCS. The camera takes very nice shots and the small Mpeg movies with sound look pretty good also. The 16X zoom really kicks ass, but dont know how much I would really use it. I could zoom in over 10 houses down right to the front door!

This camera is very easy to use! It even formats and copies floppies just using the camera. Again I know theres alot better but this one works best because of it using floppies I think its 1.6 Mega Pixels. Anyways I just wanted to let everyone know I bought a new digital camera today. :D

Depends on what resolution you take. At 480X640 or something like that you can get 30 pics on a floppy. Thats over 1000 though using the 64 meg stick I bought. :) But yes they will fill up fast at the higher resolutions settings.

I have the CyberShot DCS50 2.1MP from Sony and it is an awesome camera. This is one arena I think Sony really excels in. I went away from the Floppy because of how few pictures actually fit on a floppy especially at high resolutions. Not to mention that your carrying case must be much bigger to carry around the floppies. Good call on the 64 mb memory stick though, I only have a 32 and have never found space to be a problem.

Andy,
I have the same camera. Isn't it awesome? It takes really great pics. I bought one of the first ones out. Mine has an 8 mb memory stick. :( at the lowest res, I can fit about 30-32 pics on there. Hasn't been a problem so far.

It seems to me the 64 Meg Stick will be enough, Ill find out soon enough when I go on vaction to Flordia. Ill carry a 50 pack of flopppies for backup ;) This camera shoots VERY good outdoor pictures. Need to finish tweaking it this weekend.

MichaelD you need more memory! :) I guess the only time it would really suck is if you was on vacation and filled the memory up in a day or two and wouldnt beable to take any more pics the rest of the vacation.

Thanks Guy!
