1975 Internation Harvester Corporation Scout II w/the 345 v8 Power steering power brakes and !!!!AC!!!!. It cost 7,xxx in 75. That was a hell of a lot back then.
Got some skid plates too. Lifted 4 inches with 31's on it now.

I have to repaint it though, its that banana yellow, with wood grain panel stickers. My momma hates it.(the color). I have to go over the brakes. I think I might need a new master cylinder, as the prev owner just put on a booster to no avail. NO power brakes working, you have to hit it to the floor and hit those mechanic's. Going to put a new holley 2300 two barrel 500 cfm on it. And just ordered a new lock set with the new ignition, as you can see it cant be started right now thanks to my dad.

Thanks for listening to my excited self.

Looks like it could be fun once you get done with it. How much did it cost you?

Will do. My dad is the master at used car buying, hes done it for years since he became disabled. (Buying used cars, fixing them up and selling). He knocked the guy down to 2,000. Im thinking either solid red, or solid yellow.

Munchies, if you're not going to do a full restoration, sticking w/ the current color would be advisable :)

I'd stick with the yellow since it's never going to be inconspicuous. It's always a lot easier to repaint the same color.

Keep an eye on that engine. If I remember correctly it was not a high point in automotive technology. A lot of people swapped them out for small block Chevy's.

The IHC 345 304 and 392's are like rocks, so are the tranny's. Ive heard of someone getting home from a road trip, and changing the trans fluid to find a small hole and upon trying to empty the old fluid there was none. Ran all the way home on a roadtrip with NO FLUID.

BOMB PROOF

Torquey as hell. I will find stats.

I love those old Scouts.

I do get a kick out of seeing an unmolested one, IH sure did put some funky stripes and paint combos on those :D

Living in AZ, you should get to enjoy taking the top off, thats how they look best....topless.
