Zoom! Zoom!

First and foremost, I'd like to thank ATOT community for the countless advices to find the right car at the right price. Special thanks goes to RossMAN & Vic! :D:beer:

I gotta get going so I'll cut it short to the point:

Mazda 6i (according to edmunds.com)

MSRP
$18,530

Invoice
$17,094

TMV (True Market Value)
$18,042

Destination Charge +$520

What I Paid:
$16,499 LOSS LEADER PRICE! (I GOT IN!) -also includes destination charge!
AND -$500 Mazda college student discount

So I basically paid $15,500 for the actual vehicle! :D

$17,275 out the door with 5% MA rape me sales tax

3.9% APR for 60 mo!

I'll be picking up the car Monday afternoon.. What a sweet car at an amazing deal! Will post pics and dealer story in detail later, must go for now... :D:D:D

**UPDATE 4.27.03** Pictures!!

frontal nudity

Assuming everything comes as expected, that nothing ever breaks on the car, that it never needs an oil change, and that it never needs a fresh tank of gas, I would assume so.

;)

Congrats - great deal you got there!

What options and whatnot did you get?

They always seem to hike up the rate the longer you want the payments to go on. He probably could have gotten 0% for 36 mo's, but not for 60.

5 speed stick! :)

it's a base i trim (as opposed to S) with no other options. However, the marketing of Mazda is brilliant. Trim levels are either I or S. And I comes with plenty of things as standard. (6 speaker CD, leather wheel & knob, duel exhaust, airbag, and much more)

Although it's a 4 banger, it's got quite a pep armed with 160 horsepower. The car is only 3000lbs, which is quite a great horsepower/weight ratio.

Longer term increases the exposure risk for the bank, hence higher cost.

I was about to chide you for buying a 4 cyl, but 160 HP ain't bad. My Contour SE has a 6 cyl and only 164HP. I guess the 6i trim isn't that bad...

You did poorly grasshopper I could have gotten the same car for $14,998 ;) j/k

First of all have you received the loss leaders I snail mailed you? If so, how do they compare to your local loss leaders?

I think your experience warrants a NEW separate LOSS LEADER FAQ - How to get your car for UNDER invoice thread. I wanna hear ALL the details!!!
