I think I may be the first to buy one, because I haven't seen a single review on the internet. I went to Fry's planning to buy a wireless keyboard with built in mouse/joystick for my media PC, but decided against it. The LX5 felt nice so I picked it up. It seems to track great despite having automatic sleep.

Anyone else have one, or at least seen one in a store?
 
the info on that link claims "8 months typical use" for battery life. JESUS! What is considered typical? I know my MX-900, even if I never touched the thing I couldn't get 8 months on one charge 🙂
 
Oh yeah, there's something weird about this mouse.. It works on one battery. I don't know whether it runs on half its normal voltage or has the batteries wired in parallel.
