I bought a lobster roll at Kelly's Roast Beef for lunch today

Yep, it was expensive and it was delicious. I don't do it often, and probably won't do it again until next year.

I was thinking something very similar. I don't care how great Wag says it tastes, I would never pay $17 for "used" lobster meat.

FRESH crab meat is f0cking amazing. Fresh as in you buy the crab at the fish market/ chinese store and it is still moving when you get it back home. Stab through body, steam for a while, plain boiled rice, some pepper, salt, lemon sauce and the grab tastes AMAZING.

I haven't had crab in a while .

Lobster is great also.

I don't get the "used" stuff either.

Anyways, yeah, at one point in time in the recent past lobster wasn't considered a delicasy. It was actually a poor man's food, basically eaten by fisherman. Now we pay outrageous prices for it.
