Probably the most expensive jam in the history of mankind. Congrats you crazy Canuck, you have a niche market for inflated goods ;)

I have done canning for years including my own jams, soups, vegetables and so forth. Pie filling I started two years ago. I grow my own strawberries (24 pints in the freezer) and pick both wild blueberries and blackberries. Usually get 16-30 quarts of each. Have not bought jam in at least 10 years.

You should get yourself some mason jars, rings and lids and can that jam properly. It will become shelf stable and not need freezing.

How do you make your pie fillings?

 me too. Been years since I bought store jam. I pick one fruit each year, make a bunch of preserves and then can it. I usually end up with somewhere between 20-40 jars. I give away alot as gifts and use the rest for myself. 3 years ago I made black raspberry, 2 years ago blueberry, last year it was peach. I may make cherry preserves this year.

I tried out some of my jam and whoa is that ever good and sweet!

its so different from store bought. the strawberry flavour is so intense. this would be great on ice-cream!
