Finally found a clean 5 speed white SC300 for a good price. Only problem is that it's 3000 miles away! I'm paying $1000 to get it shipped. It should be here sometime next week.🙂

Will let you know. The car is from a Lexus dealer and has only had 1 owner. He did all his service at that dealer and I have the record. He did all his services early and really took care of the car.
 
that's a lot of $$$ for a car with that mileage and that old imho...

Congrats! I rented one of those once and drove it to Palm Springs. Really nice car with decent power! That inline-6 is really smooth. Of course, the one I rented had 11k miles on it. It was kind of a garnet red with black leather interior. :thumbsup:
 
I would NEVER buy another car (unless a classic that I planned on rebuilding) with over 100k miles on it.......

Bought a 93' Mitsubishi Eclipse with 100k on it. By 120k it was blowing some much smoke I traded it in 7 months later and lost 2k.

Not to mention a TON of other things started to crap out........ kinda made me scared of Mitsubishi now......

True for most cases but the reliabilty on a Mitsu Eclipse vs a Lexus of any model has quite a bit of disparity. Lexus' go on forever.
 
Congradulations!

The SC300/400 are one of my favorite cars, ever. They are the best looking Lexus/Toyota car to date. I just love the lines on the car, the way the light dances of it in the night. The interior is really good too.

And you got a 5-spd, makes it even more special!
