I bought a book today

I had a chance, a long time ago.

But I flew too close to the sun on wings of pastrami.

Lesson learned.

Excluding college books and reference books, the only books I've bought in the past ummm probably 8 years are:

"iWoz" and "Darkly Dreaming Dexter"

I still blame me teachers for ruining any desire I have to read.

Oh and I've never heard of that book, but based on my comments, that probably doesn't surprise anyone 🙂.

I have a bad habit of buying books and never reading them. Lately I've been a little better about it, I'm currently trying to make my way through "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand and "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" by Friedrich Nietzsche.

I'm pretty excited to read it. Has anyone here had a chance?

Yes, entertaining book.

However the problem with Mezrich is that he gets too focused on talking about sex and making an erotic novel it seems. In his other book of a similar nature, Breaking Vegas, and as well as Ugly Americans, his interludes between chapters documenting his research, as well as in the regular chapters themselves, he can't help but talk about some prostitute with big boobs wearing a g-string. Intriguing at first, but gets old real fast.

It's a shame people don't read more, there'd be a lot less "2 y b plz wut ne1" sh!t on the internet. People might even learn to tell your from you're 😉
