LOL
I think that they have a 10 day return/exchange policy, if you take it back you might be able to get the difference refunded.

JimboTheConquerer - You have 2 weeks actually to return to Best Buy w/ the receipt... just go to customer service w/ the ad, and the receipt and say, "Hi, I bought this a week ago, and I saw it today for a lot cheaper, can I get the difference refunded please?"

Then they'll go through the computer and talk amongst each other, then you'll get your dinero back ;)

Good times :)

p.s. I think all stores have this policy btw (except funcoland... stay away from them!!)

Well, whatever this 6.5 is, as long as it isn't a computer, laptop, digital camera, hifi equipment (laff) or hdtv, you have 30 days to PM plus 10% of the difference. However, check out this very disturbing thread here

If you live in the southbay california area, bring it to the torrance store. (that's the one I used to work at) They're very good about price matching, if you're getting the run-around, demand to speak to Margie (very nice manager, pretty hot too :))

You should be able to price match.

However, you might get a manager who tries to explain to you, "since you bought it at Best Buy, we don't have to pricematch since we aren't 'the competition' or even a 'local competitor' (to ourselves)".
;)
:)

Well, it isn't funny.

Apoppin - I don't think they'll do that (hopefully!) ;)

It's their policy to refund the difference if they ever advertise for cheaper... most recently I've done it w/ Lord of Destruction... they had it on sale for 34.99 I got it for 39.99 got my refund... all was good

Don't be afraid... just know that the customer is king.. the cusomer is king... the customer.. ;)

Double post here -

Might as well say something else too, don't let the other threads discourage you from going to get your refund... just use them to know how low some of these companies can sink in order to save themselves the refund...

Best Buy will price match their on ads. I bought a game that went on sale a few days later...they refunded the difference.

I guess you missed I was using sarcasm (there isn't a "sarcasm" emoticon).

After my ordeal at Beast Buy trying to get them to PM Max Payne at Fry's BB has Max Payne on sale for $34.99.

However, you can also get it at CUSA for the same price.

For all my troubles, I got it for $32 (10% of the difference).

Of course Louis was trying to explain that the store wouldn't be able to take the six dollar loss. Now it's on sale at HIS store.

;disgust:

Shouldn't have any problem getting your money back. I once did a pricematch at best buy, with a cdburner that I have had for about 40 days, and the guy said that they normally have a 30 day period, but went ahead and did it for me anyway.

Best Buy has a 30 day money back guarantee and I think CompUSA has theirs for only two week. Just went to CompUSA to get PM Max Payne I bought last week.
