Amazon Prime now was selling these Mars candy halloween packs for 1 dollar! yes 1 dollar a piece. I thought they were small bags since I don't get many folks on halloween. Assumed they were some special 1 dollar sampler bag promotion.

I go to my app and choose 6 bags. few hours later Knock knock I open the door and I see the front of my house piled up with bags of candy!

36 pounds of chocolate (6 bags!) I am not even supposed to eat much, I guess I will be handing a shit ton of candy this halloween contributing to diabetes. 3 pounds of candy for each person

Anyhow these are the bags that arrived. At a cross roads here thinking about what to do with them.

That is nuts, and you only got charged 6 dollars? I'd bring a bag to work, give a bag to friends or family to hand out, etc. Not worth the hassle to return if they only charged you a dollar a bag!

yup 6 bucks. And I will hand out to family etc.. That is a shit load of candy, and the good stuff. But for some reason on the Amazon prime app they are selling those bags for 1 dollar each.

Halloween candy is usually consumed in my house as 50% to the kids, 25% to the wife's stomach, and 25% to the wife's workplace.

Splurge to friends & colleagues and make sure they understand they owe you big.

Not sure how you missed that they were big bags but oh well, it's pretty funny. Yeah like others have said I'd hand them out at work, mostly (cause I don't have any kids trick-or-treating at my apartment), cause while diabeetus sounds kinda fun I'm not much of a candy person. I love gummy candies (Life Savers Neons, raise the roof) but not so much chocolate-type stuff. Anyway that's a killer deal for 36 pounds of candy! LOL

Melt them all into a giant candy ball and just tell kids to grab a handful off of it.

I voted give it all out. You will be a legend, and the kids will probably tell their classmates, who will then make your house a must visit next year. Then you will have a more desirable candy to kid ratio.

I concur.

But that means you have to do it every year or you're letting down the children.

Except next year, give out dental floss.

Anyone else read the Amazon reviews? (Yeah, people with no lives actually post reviews for bags of candy bars). Apparently, there are very few highly-coveted Twix bars in that mix. Fish out all the Twix bars and put them up for auction on eBay.

I did and it was a complaint fest. "I only got 6 Twix bars, the rest were junk" lol

One dude complained it didn't ship with ice and it melted in October.
