At like 40 pounds, it really isn't that bad. The compensator takes care of most of it, and if you have the bipod down, its not as bad as a 12 gauge. The cool thing is, when you shoot one, it feels like someone hit you in the nose. You get that concussive feeling in your sinuses. It's awesome.
