Hey guys... just wondering... seeing as I've got a knock-down drag-out beautiful monitor in front of me (samsung 170t), and I'm really, really hyped (isn't everybody? haha, plz don't flame me) about the nforce, I was wondering... does anybody know if nvidia is going to go the intelligent "next gen" route that the new ati and even gf2mx dual head graphics boards are going, and give me a dvi-i port on the integrated gf2mx? I'm not one to game all that much, and when the hardcore TnL games come out and I need a more advanced graphics core to make the games look right, I'll upgrade, but an MX is more than enough for me now. So... if anyone can give me a definitive answer (pictures anyone? :) the only two i've ever seen are the .pdf of the italian pc-professional, and the a7n266 pic from computex), I would really appreciate it... I simlpy can't go back to analog video now, dvi is just so pretty... mmm....

<< DVI Interface

from:
nForce IGP overview.pdf (not new)

Does that answer your question?

And btw, the GF2MX tech on this board will easily handle hc T&L gaming.

Thanks... now I'll just have to wait and see if Asus/Abit/etc etc actually use it... good to know it has the ability, at least :)

That's why we're banking on the "consoles-are-always-stable" xbox <--> nforce correlation.
Regardless, I'm waiting at least a month after it comes out, if not until the second hardware revision.
