Ok, maybe not kill...but seriously maim them. They just filed a complaint with the office (we've been living in this apartment for two weeks) that they're hearing "loud music and stomping" past midnight.

Now, here's the thing: 1) I work until 11pm, and thus am not even home before then (mom goes to sleep at 9:30); 2) When I get home, I have enough common sense to turn my subwoofer down. Heck, it's practically turned off at that time, and beyond that I don't even really listen to music at night anymore;

These people go to sleep at 8pm, and my guess is that they're just spoiled from not having anyone living above them for a while. I'm sorry, but it's an apartment, and WALKING (not stomping) noise is just something you have to live with. I take my shoes off, and I never run, I just walk normally around every so often to eat, use the bathroom, and other NORMAL things. I can't be held to blame if these people below me want perfect quiet when THEY go to sleep.

They've even come up at 6pm to ask me to turn my music down (it was at moderate volume, so I nicely agreed to turn it down a bit). But I'm sorry, I'm not about to tailor my entire lifestyle around making nighttime perfectly quiet for them. If they want that, then buy a house.

Ok, enough ranting for now🙂
 
hehe our neighbors next to us complain cause we "boom shaka boom" too loud they like to sleep from like 9pm to 9am ..

i told them to kiss off, must be nice to be able to sleep 12 hours a day, and never make any noises 🙂 but that aint real life..

 
Nope, not me...we've only been moved in here for going on two weeks. Such a wonderful neighborhood🙂

I need some ghetto folks downstairs, I tell you...
 
Ahhh the joys of apartment life.

I get those whiney neighbors myself.
Just tell them you're partially deaf and have a couple of bodies in the freezer.
They'll usually leave you alone
 
I don't live in an apartment, but I have one crazy neighbor. He walks over and bangs on my door at midnight yelling his printer doesn't work. WTF has this world come to??
 
After you have killed them, please offer any of their valuable computer parts in the fs/ft forums please. 😀
