So I smashed the front of my lower leg (hit the muscle, not the shin) in the weight room today and now it feels very, VERY tight. Tight like how muscles are after you've done quite a few heavy sets (like when your ROM with that muscle goes down temporarily) but the tightness in my shin muscle is definitely not going down. My ROM in pointing my foot/toes is less than 50% of what it is normally. Should I be stretching this muscle out, or should I just let it sit?

No, do nothing; let it sit. Stretching can stress muscles and ligaments and yours is not tight from lack of flexibility but from recent damage, do not stretch it.

Ice it, take ibuprofen, then some tiger balm or the like.
