One of my long time friends mother has passed away recently due to cancer... she had 10 tumors on her brain... one of them grew and eventually pinched a nerve that effected her breathing... my friend and his family followed the ambulance to the hospital where they where told him and his family that they could only keep her alive only with life support. My friends mother didn't want that, she believed it was a lost cause, the cancer would take over her entire body with time anyways. She was a great person... everytime I entered their house I was usually greeted with a hug. She was always cheerfull and a great person to be around. Why do bad things happen too good people? Or at least the people I care about.

For those of you who pray, keep my friend Justin and his family in your prayers.

For those of you who have a cancer patient in your life, I wish you the best of luck and that you make your best efforts to create great memories with that special person because they may not be around some day.

That sucks. A Similar thing happened here. A good friend of mine's mom passed away from a brain tumor not long ago, it was pretty sad. Now my friend has to look after her sister and go to school....

Sorry to hear that. My best friend's father passed away from leukemia 6 months ago. I saw him three weeks before he died at a Christmas program at my parents' church. He seemed reasonably healthy and even sang a tenor duet. You said it hp, sometimes bad things happen to good people and we don't know why. I wrote my friend a letter because I didn't know how to tell him in person. He appreciated my concern, and I'm sure so will your friend Justin.
