I ate an M&M today, and

it had a peanut in it? Do they grow the peanut in chocolate, or how else could they do that? I was about to freak out.
I said something like..."HEY!!! There's a peanut in my M&M."

i think it's magic. they have thousands of tiny little wizzards in the chocolate factory who casts spells to make the peanuts go inside the chocolate
of course you not only have your peanut wizzards, but also your almond, peanut butter and the new krispy wizzards

i believe m&m/mars uses genetic engineering and grows peanuts that develop chocolate in their shells as opposed to those membranes.
