I ate a chunk out of my cheek. Any good ointments for it?

Can anybody here recommend anything good? I chewed a freaking hunk out of it because I had some fillings a week back and I guess I'm not used to them yet. This was a couple of days after the fillings were done but now the inside of my mouth bloody well hurts.

Gargle/swish salt water.

Yes, it will hurt like hell... but it will heal faster.

If you can find it get Kenalogg. It's amazing stuff, it's a prescription item here in Canadia, not sure about in the states though, I'd assume it would be likewise.

It's Anbesol and it might help. Maybe use Anbesol and then swish with salt water.

What is it?

If it's strong enough to fight the pain of your hepatitis sores maybe it would indeed work for me.

its also for bites and injuries. mornings when i'm a hurry brushing my teeth, sometimes there's a slip. it works very well.

make sure you get the 'B' one. it has benzocaine.

Try Orabase. I use this when I get canker sores and it works pretty well on them. Doesn't hurt and it has a numbing agent as well as forming a temporary protective layer over the wound.

At least you will be able to eat and sleep without the pain bothering you until it heals.
