I asked for opinions about file sharing sites. To say that I got flamed, is putting it nicely. Can I ask for your opinions again? There were a few good folk then; I hope to find some again.

Mistake #1, asking for file sharing sites, against forum rules
Mistake #2, admitting to 2nd account from back when, against forum rules

First; I am not asking for anything illegal; I do believe Napster is a file sharing site--or must it be called something different when you PAY for it? But you assume that's what I want.

Second; To say Google insults me. I will go to the free offer board and post about Coolfreeoffer and send the newbies to the Spam King.

Third; I did not get banned; I couldn't remember the freaking account name and password....

Just so we all know.

Still, multiple accounts are still against forum rules. Every once in a long while, a member will set up an account and post another thread(likely a joke or one thats embarrassing so they dont want it linked to a primary account) and the mods always ban that account pretty quickly. I can definitely see it happening in your case.

As for "Online Music Providers" (I believe thats the correct term) Napseter is alright, but Itunes has the biggest selection. Then of course if you're a college student, Ruckus is free(though you can only listen to your songs on your pc unless you use special programs to convert it to non drm music) and then theres the "grey market" ones like Allofmp3.com

Those are the big 3 I can think of off of the top of my head. I tunes if yuo have an ipod, Ruckus for PCs or Allofmp3 if you dont mind "semi legalish".

Thank you guys-- for being decent, and giving decent answers. I am NOT your typical poster.

Methinks you got some PMs.

You really should be appreciative of the help, considering most of us had to go through this the hard way. At least you truly are not the typical poster, in that you want info presented to you on a silver platter, and not have to search for it. Oh, wait...
