Only thing I have to mix with it is Red Bull.

Please don't. That's probably one of the worst mixed drinks I've ever heard of.

I've only have one Jagerbomb in my life, and I'm lucky Red Bull/Monster/etc don't affect me.

maybe I should have just gotten all this and passed out fairly quickly:

3/4 oz Jose Cuervo® Especial gold tequila
3/4 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
3/4 oz Rumple Minze® peppermint liqueur
3/4 oz Bacardi® 151 rum

I can get equally wasted with alcohol on its own. I just don't see the point in causing excessive damage when the end result is the same.

just mix these two and you'll be set. it saves some cash, goes down smooth and does the trick.

Excessive damage? Do you have scientific proof of this? Done a study of the effects of alcohol and red bull over the course of 5 years? 1 year? 1 month?

Personally? No. But I figured it was common sense.

Here's a link, however I can't comment on its reliability.

It's never caused any arrhythmias for me, but one night I was drinking Red Bull, rum, and Sudafed in an attempt to stay awake and that caused some freakiness, won't do that ever again.

It's also common sense to no believe everything you read or hear. I see nothing in that article that points to excessive damage. All i see is "could" and "can" do damage. I've never had any issues when drinking red bull or red bull and alcohol.

Cheers.

Maybe I'm wrong then, but wouldn't an energy drink speed up your heart rate, and alcohol slow it down? I imagine if they battled eachother out for a while, over multiple occasions, that it could cause weakness.

Mind you, I'm not med student so I have no proof of this.

Hell, if it's decided that it's not all that bad for you, even better, 'cause I like the drink.

I'd imagine that your ummm, what's the word...susceptibility to caffeine? would play a role in this. Caffeine doesn't affect me, Red Bull just tastes good.

Well, I know that energy drinks don't affect me as they should, but I can't say if it's different when consumed with alcohol.

I thought you bought a Jaguar and at that your new car smelled like NyQuil. I was really confused until I read the OP.

It's not like the alcohol goes to the heart and says slow the fuck down. I would imagine that the chemicals/drugs just counteract each other to some degree. Obviously a jagerbomb will not have the right portions of alcohol/caffeine to not have some net effect on a body, especially given that different people process the alcohol faster/slower and have more effects from the caffeine.

I would expect that the "long term" damage from drinking jagerbombs is no worse then the long term effects of drinking alcohol or caffeine separately.
