I complained about the crappy Wifi I had to pay for at a motel recently. (A 3 star extended stay suite facility in a major city.) Got this email a few days later from the MANAGER:
"First I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to fill out one of our surveys.
Second I would like to inform you that I am going to remove the charge for the internet on your folio. You will notice a credit in the amount $4.99 back to your discover card. I do apologize for any incontinence this may have caused you during your stay.
Must be tough to find good hotel managers if this one got the job!
Why say "folio"? And not bill or account?
It may have been an inconvenience, but what does that have to do with incontinence?
