20 in a row is tough man.

Drive for show, putt for dough. :)

I can smack a ball 300 yards, sometimes even straight :Q, but once I get near a green. I'm all done. :(

Actually I should say I used to be able to when I was your age. I'm a big strong guy, but that doesn't have much to do with it IMO. I always hit em farther, and straighter at the end of the bucket of balls when I was too tired to try and kill it. :)

My mom, and her side of the family shoot a mean game. Mom shoots low 80's, and has come close to winning the RI Open a few times. Her brother who lives is Cali shoots scratch all day long. He came here on vacation, and played a course (not an easy one either)that he hasn't been on since he was a kid, and shot a 71. His son who is a caddy at Pebble Beach (makes killer loot) shoots a mean game. He supported himself all through college by caddying, and betting on the golf course. He's a shark.

His sister is the real gem of the family. She's 17, and breaking under par just about every round. She's going to college on a golf scholarship, and has every intention of being on the LPGA tour. Her dad always kids her about not turning into a lesbian. :D

Golf is more fun for me to watch now. I saw Jack Nickalus, and his son play together in RI at a small charity event last summer. I'll have to scan in the pictures I got of him after he practiced. I was two feet from the guy. Got some decent shots considering I had a cheap camera.

I've been to a lot of pro golf events. LPGA open in Salem Mass. when I was a teenager, and a ton of regular tour events. I used to have all kinds of autographs too, but managed to lose em over the years. I highly recommend going to one, anyone. They are a lot of fun, there's always free stuff from corporations, and they usually sell a good hot dog. :)

They had a circus size tent at the open, that was all tables set up giving stuff away. I had bags of free junk.

Check it out sometime. You'll enjoy it.

Well, on a good day, i can prolly drive it around 225-250 or so, normally tho around 200. My friends and I golf once or twice a month, cept for the winter or course, I can outdrive most of them, but whenever i get near the green, like you said, i suck majorly.

I've been to a couple of tournaments in Dearborn, MI, they were fun to watch. I don't think i have any pictures tho of anyone.......

Yea we never bothered with pictures much either, but this was a special one. Tom Kite was there too. It was hosted by Billy Andrade, and Brad Faxon who are local boys.

It was a 2 day event with (I think) 10 pairs of players. Lots of fun. Really intament event too. You could get up close to everything, and it was real laid back w/ everybody cracking jokes and stuff. Those guys are pretty funny.

Which reminds me. Me, and my mother went to a mens event somewhere in Mass for a regular PGA stop, and Chi Chi Rodriguez was there. So of course we had to follow him for awhile, because he's a riot.

Well I was a chunky kid (still am 6'1", 265Lbs), and when I asked him for an autograph. He asked me if I was on the grapefruit diet. I just looked at him stupidly, then he says "you know, you eat everything, but grapefruit". :D

This was in front of at least 150 people. It was so funny I laughed at myself, even my own mom laughed at me. It was frikkin hilarious. I should have been embarrased I guess, but I wasn't the only one he picked on. So no biggie in my book. The guy is a trip. :)
