So far I have only seen one in use, and that was a plane ride to LA back in early august. Nobody I know owns one.

I've got one. Lent it to a friend a month ago and, honestly, I rarely even think about the damn thing.

Thinking about just selling it to him and going about my business.

I saw someone with one during my break between classes today. That's the first time I've ever seen one outside of a display case in the store.

Never seen a reason to own one. You can't really just stick it in your pocket easily like a DS. You have to worry about protecting the screen and having battery life, etc...

I know two people that bought one within the last month. It's funny to hear them trying to convince themselves that they made a smart move buying PSPs instead of DS Lites. One of them is my housemate, so he gets left out when EVERYONE else in the house whips out their DS Lite to play some Mario Kart or Tetris.

I saw a pretty cute girl playing with one religiously at a nice gym in the financial district of downtown Seoul.

Oh, I saw a kid playing NFS on one a while back at Oakland Airport.

That's it though.

It's so beautiful, but portable gaming doesen't really do anything for me. I played GTA on it, but I coudln't get used to the control scheme.

I just ordered on of the best buy Creative Zen W's.

I bought and sold mine. There simply aren't enough good games for it. The only time I use it is when I'm not at home and I don't travel far enough to actually sit and watch a whole movie. I used to use it as an MP3 player which worked out quite well, but it's pretty expensive, heavy, and fragile for an MP3 player.

I had one and sold it about 4 months later. I think I ended up using it a dozen times or so.

I picked up a DS Lite the day they came out and I play that almost every day! :)

I've seen one in use on a plane also... that's it. 4 out of ~25 people in my office have DSes.

I have a DS, I'll probably get a PSP before my next vacation to take advantage of its video playing abilities.

I don't see the appeal of handheld game systems to adults. Who really has time for them except for commuters who use mass transit or frequent fliers?

I am sadly an owner of a PSP. :(
I haven't touched that thing in months. Maybe I should just sell it. The GPS attachment that is out for it looks interesting.

I see teens with them on the subway all the time. Most of the time, they aren't even playing them...maybe listening to music, but mainly just carrying them around. Status symbol.
