live by the sword and will die by a sword, no one in the world is going to change that, even if you stick a gun to my head and ask me to beg for my life. Just like a stone statue in the middle of a road, you can run me over or whatever and I will still not be moved or move myself the next time i get run over the second time, third time, etc. Because their are too many liars in this world, who is their to trust anymore? you see what I mean? most just saying this mumbo, jumbo to twist things around in their favor. If I can't comprehend what they saying and it doesn't make sense, why be completely convinced all of a sudden? with just words that is so convincing but there still a catch, where is proof?

back in the day it was much easier to get people to believe in something like a god. It is the ultimate cop out, if there is something you can't explain, for example "why are there clouds", it is simple to say something like "god created the earth that way". Now that we have good explainations for a lot of things, and it seems that we keep learning more by the year, it becomes harder to convince people there is a god. If all people had accepted the things that the bible taught we would still be living like people did 2000 years ago. I can't really say if this would be a bad thing since I didn't live back then though.

"... if we do discover a complete theory, it should in time be understandable in broad principle by everyone, not just a few scientists. Then we shall all, philosophers, scientists, and just ordinary people, be able to take part in the discussion of the question of why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason - for then we would know the mind of God." -Stephen Hawking from A Brief History of Time

I think we'll get there one day.
