I am in the market for a new monitor.
I am driving myself crazy trying to make up my mind.
I have no way to go and see the monitors in person and that is the problem.
I was going to get a L90D+. But then Dell has these great dells on the 2005FPW. Wow very cool, a wide screen lcd. Oh but wait those end on the fifteenth, so thats out of the picture. Well back to the L90D+ or maybe the 930B. Oh but guess what, Dell extends their coupons. Wow very nice, I can get the 2005FPW. But wait whats this I hear about some coating that makes LCDs look a whole lot better. Something that NEC and Sony has. Hmm better investigate this, cant find any info on how good they actually are overall. But then I find a really cool thread talking about a new 8MS 16.7 Million Color MVA Panel that has the cool coating, Enter the Viewsonic VP191B. Or dont enter it, reason is its a new panel but with the same name as a old panel, but if I order from Dell and try to get the new panel there is no guarantee I will get the new panel, as Dells site claims they have the old Panel but Dell Customer service claimed their info is probably wrong and I should go ahead and order. But I also read that some of the Dell 1905s are using this panel but I cant find anywhere to confirm this. I keep asking myself though would I be happier with the improved colors of the VP191B or should I go with the 2005FPW as wide screen gaming just seems very cool, of course it is cool except in some games when your online as they wont let you game in wide screen (LIKE COD) because using a different fov is considered cheating so would it be cool? Well almost make up my mind and then in the mail comes my Provantage catalog, ah well figure I can glance through it, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!!!!!! Viewsonic VX924 for $438 with a 4MS RESPONSE TIME!!!!!
EHHHHHH I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!! SOMEONE ANYONE HELP!!!!!
Man I hate buying parts that I dont plan to upgrade for a long period of time. Why cant it be as simple as buying a CPU, or Ram, or a Hard Drive. Trying to purchase a new monitor is driving me nuts.
