first day of class... found out that i had to get another "book" which is actually a packet of articles.

this brings total book costs to over $500 :( which is an average of over $100 for each class.

anyway, everything went well, i have homework. but who cares, it's just homework :p

I am done college but I hated paying all that money for books. But selling them at the end of the semester was great :) .

Even better is buying them online at cheap prices, then selling them back to the bookstore... you get more money back that way... :)

Make friends who are a semester or so ahead of you. Borrow their books for the classes you take after them. Get copies of their old tests and homework to help you study.

Yes, selling back books at the end of the semester is cool. Gets me drunk for a couple days.

the problem is, that usually, the school would be using a new edition of books. that's true for most of the classes i have taken. new edition can mean, minor cosmetic changes with respect to pagination and chapters, or just different problems. and in 2 of my classes, we're using different books.
