I've even got a nice, new 780 sitting within 4 feet of it, waiting to go in. Yet, I find myself just too apathetic about its completion to actually finish the damned thing.

Well, I did open up the 780 and put it into the case/mb. Still haven't moved it.

Of course, part of the problem is simply motivation. After having moved into a new house 1.5 months ago, we still have more than a couple of boxes unpacked. Then we've been resuming our auction "addiction" we had a couple of years ago. Made a fair bit of change from doing something we both enjoy. Went to one in Wilmington, NC last Saturday...5.5 hrs of driving each way. But some rare Roseville pieces, etc.

Then there's the crap still left to do on the boat. Just got the factory service manual for the motor yesterday. Thank goodness for ebay sometimes. Now I can do the impeller/water pump without too much consternation. Been working on Mercurys and Forces for the last years, this will be the first "modern" Johnson I'll have worked on. (2000 model 115hp.)

So, a large part of my inaction is probably due to being split in so many directions at the same time. It'll get done eventually, it's just that I used to fly through new builds, hell, I did one in the back seat of our SUV on the way home from Microcenter as the wife drove. Had it ready to plug in when we arrived at the house.

Just not the same excitement as there used to be.

Yea, lots of us should have your problems. I guess one can lose enthusiasm for a hobby. It is kind of the same with me for gaming. Used to be several games at once that I just couldn't wait to get home from work to play. Now it just seems every game coming out is j just a rehash of an older game.

I should of lost my geek status at Rage..

And i had to get my bios from Shimano direct every week, cuz eVGA didnt/couldnt support the gulftown bios until NDA was done.

So i had to them wait on cpu's... :\

Well, put the 780 into it, hooked up the Samsung SSD I had and loaded Win 7.

Must say, even with no mb specific drivers loaded, it's pretty quick....always nice to have a fresh install of Win.
