I am looking forward to going bald. Then I will not have to deal with cutting my hair every year or so. Will save me some time and effort.

Also, I can save money by using less shampoo and conditioner.

Every YEAR???!!!

My hair starts getting unkempt at about a month! Wife trims it up for me so I can make it to 6 weeks before having to visit the barber!
(I have it cut 3/4" on top, 1/2" on sides & back).

I could almost have a full head of hair, if I didn't shave my head once a week

About 5 years ago I just decided to get a buzz cut, and then I just started shaving it. I don't have to buy shampoo or get haircuts anymore!

Started losing my hair at 24..just like my Dad. Almost 30, and I think it's speeding up. :\

Ever since I started thinning, I just went to a 000 clipper cut. Facial hair to compensate. Works out okay.

Meh, going bald was never a big deal for me. I started losing it around 20ish and now it's mostly gone on top. Like others have said, I just get real close with a 0 clipper. Women don't seem to mind at all - in fact, I get more female interest now than I did with a full head of hair. Maybe I'm just lucky and have a nicely-shaped head.

I only have a few minor complaints about being bald:

1. Sunburn easily
2. Get more sweat in your face
3. I sometimes miss having the option to have a different hair style

I shaved my head once.
Once.

That's all it took, my scarred, lumpy, & misshapen head was not a pretty site!

Baldness is prevalent on my dads side. I used to be hopeful, as I held on to my hair well past my brother, but alas, I am now bald. I keep it cut short so I don't look like a douche that refuses to let go.

I am the opposite, but I am practicing getting by on my ideas and actions compared to my appearance. I am sure I will still be sad when I do go bald, but at least I have a foundation of not being a douche that cruises on appearances and am more concerned with ideas and practical applications of them.

I usually get it cut to 1/4 inch and then let it grow until it blocks my eyes. Right now it's actually a foot long or so, I am overdue.

It's not so bad. The worst part (if you choose that route) is shaving all the time. I've been told I have a good head for it, whatever that means.

Yeah, I can't shave my head. I have a weak jawline, so with a shaved head I end up looking like a thumb.

I'm in my 20's and slowly losing my hair, but you know what? I'll take tall, good looking, will never gain an ounce and great health over keeping my hair any day of the week....

certainly doesn't hurt I have the headshape for it and I'm totally rocking my buzzcut like Jason Statham (although I have more hair than him).
If your hair is your only redeeming factor I feel bad for you son, I've got 99 problems but not getting laid ain't one.

no males in my family have ever gained any weight as they aged, and nobody (apart from my granddad who has had cancer for over 10 years, he still drives himself to and from the hospital for chemo) ever gets sick, for instance in all my life my dad has been sick a grand total of 1 time.

oh and also, we don't get hangovers either, no matter how much we drink.

I'm in my 40's, so I wouldn't care that much if my hair starting falling out. Now if I loss my hair in my 20's, I would have freaked.

I'm pretty sure it's not going to work out that way.
