Wake up this morning,no web access on the home lan 🙁
Check out the modem,router,switch,everything's connected, green lights etc, figure mediaone's just shuffled the IP addies again,so I power cycle everything reboot... still no web, call mediaone ,get message that Maine,NH and MA are having big problems
I wait but then decide to try the modem straight thru to one pc... it works
shut down, reconnect everything.... no web access for the lan,...go back to one PC ...no web access... go take nap
come back one pc has web access,d/load foreware upgrade for router,flash router..shut down, reset,reconnect
no web access for the Lan,Go to closet, drag out spare cat5 cables,replace all cables... still no lan
all computers ping each other and the router
release/renew, uninstall/install, boot,reboot... then about the 5th trip into the router setup I realise that the mac addie wasn't spoofed 😱
How dumb can ya get ? The kids were cheering because I got the internet back but I was so
embarrassed 😱
