I am SO dead

Wife found out my large credit card balance, called me at work, and said she was going to have a "talk" when I get home. Oh man.....probably going to be single for Christmas 🙁

doh...how bad is the balance?? Are we talking Skoorb bad or Rossman bad (heaven forbid!!!)

Is it your money or both your monies??

ouch man I feel your pain...my gf gets on my case about the cc purchases as well. Women like to keep guys in line when it comes to buying gadgets.

I tend to buy things without her knowing...looks like they stacked up a little too much. 4 minutes until I go home :/

That's what you get for buying all that lingerie for your "secretary!" 😛

Not a bad idea, though. I made the mistake of putting tuition on a card when I didn't want to let me wife know that we were struggling for money. I eventually told her, we changed our spending habits, and are now paying down my dumb choices.

Just under $13000....not sure if that's Rossman-esque, but it's pretty damn high. Fortunately I keep switching to interest free cards every year, but now that my car is paid off, I should be able to clear that up in a year. Still...

It's all my money. I pay all the bills except for her car payment. She's going to get me on the "WE COULD HAVE HAD THAT MUCH MONEY IN OUR SAVINGS" angle. *sigh*...what's a good single's website?

I hope you're making six figures if you can rack up $13,000 in CC charges that easily.

You'd be surprised.

I bought a new bike, had a car accident, and a car repair put me 3500 in the can in just over 3 days.

I've had a 7000-13000 balance for a couple of years now. I make $35000/yr, but she makes about $50000. Man, what a screwup 🙁

Oh man... PWNED.

The real screw-up is not being honest with your wife about your finances. That's never a good thing.
