I'm not bragging, because I know more than half of the people on this site are much more knowledgeable in computers/technology/electronics, I'm just wanting to hear if anyone else has the same kind of problem and is tired of it.

Dad keeps bragging to fix/work on his site, Mom keeps bragging about helping her fix her resume, Brother keeps bragging me to fix his stupid counterstrike, everytime we buy some hardware like a MOUSE.. I have to install it. Network cable.. I have to install it. Router .. I have to install it. Wireless NIC... I have to install it. Keyboard.. I have to install it. Install forums on my dads site.. I have to install it.

WHAT

THE

FVCK

Is anyone else fvcking sick of solving computer/electric problems and tired of being the computer b!tch around the house? Man I wish I was a computer noob...

Look at it this way...

Just because you have a lawn mower doesn't mean you have to mow everybody's grass.

Just do it.
It just happened that you're in the family with the computer knowledge to install hardwares and etc.

I'm on the same boat with you.

Man, you must know some really stupid people if they have a problem installing a mouse. Ok, i could understand it if it was back with the old PS/2 connector, because if it wasn't color coded at the back, then you could have accidentally plugged it into the keyboard port... but USB mouse these days, are impossible to incorrectly install. At least i thought so.

yes - solution

tell them you need to get paid.

I have the same problem, even with sisters boyfriends and even all of my friends need help. I charge 20 bucks now for things that take under 30 minutes.

That way its worth your time, and kids will stop buggin you, or move out <3
