I am running F@H gui on a couple computers, it keeps crashing...what can I do?

There is a known bug (OpenGL I think) with the GUI and some video drivers. You could try updating the video drivers. Or try the console version.

If it is not that problem, then maybe the computer is overheating. Have you recently cleaned out the heatsink?

It could be too high of an overclock. I could have a higher overclock if I didn't run DC 24/7. A system can have a seem to have a stable overclock until you run a program 24/7.

If you leave the GUI window open, it crashes when it finishes a WU. You can fix that by keeping the window closed (just in the taskbar) or by going to the console version.

I am liking having F@H open so I can see it (I figure they make it, why not use it)...so if possible the gui kinda rocks for me. :)

sid-3800 x2 mildly OC'ed...100% stable
xp sp2
2x512 ballistix ram
x850xtpe no OC


And no I don't leave the gui open, I just randomly check it.
