I'm trying to transfer about 140GB of photos from my Windows box to a Linux file server.

After transferring 7GB, I got a message that states there is not enough free space on the drive. I look at my Linux drive, and only 50MB of freespace has been used up! Where did the 7GB go?

I look at my Windows hard drive and there is no more free space.

The Linux network folder is called Photo1. Windows has this under

C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\NetHood

When I right click properties on Photo1 in the above directory, it says 7GB is the size of the folder, comprising 267 files. I double click to open Photo1, and there's nothing there

What the heck???
