I am ready to overclock my Radeon LE. What's the appropriate method?

I flashed my Radeon LE to Radeon DDR, and it's working great. I put a CPU fan on it, so I can attempt to overclock it a little more. So the question is, how should I do this?

What kind of increments should I overclock at? Should I try 170? then 175? 180?, or 1MHz increments? How long should I run it for and what kind of "trouble signs" am I looking for?

Any advice is appreciated :D

Try www.rage3d.com
There are many 'tweak' programs there that overclock the cards.
I have mine at 180/180. My brothers will only run stable at 170/170
With a fan, you should be able to hit 180+
Good luck.

Take it up to 175 then go in 5 mhz.increments,I have'nt gone any higher than 200.

Be sure to do the Reg hackto enable hyperz in D3D aplications.

No you don't have to flash it,originally it was thought by flashing it to the DDR you would enable hyperZ in D3D & get the default speed of 166 like the standard Radeon DDR.

What you really get is the default speed of 166.

The best way I've found is to do the Reg hack & overclock it for best all around performance.

To be quite honest this card performs very well right out of the box for the average gamer.

If anyone is thinking about flashing there LE make sure you try overclocking it first to 166 to see that it is 100% stable. Most will do 166 but why bother flashing finding it's not stable at 166 then having to flash back to the LE.
