I'm traveling to the east coast this early Oct. and I'm taking a disabled brother(lost his kidneys due to diabetes) for his first visit east of Salt Lake City.
He mentioned that he would like to hit some of the unusual places to eat and visit when we get there.
Can you guys give me some hints or favorites? We don't want to eat at any franchise places if you know what I mean. There will be four of us traveling in a rental car with a handicapped placard. We will have gone about ten days. My sister wants to try Katz deli in NY. for example. I want to visit Gettysburg myself.
