I Am Pissed That Fireworks Are Illegal In My State...

I love how Ohio has forbidden a ton of fireworks... yet they are still sold here. You just can't *use* them here.

Of course, that never stopped my uncle from setting quite a few off on one of our farms a few years ago. They could be seen for miles... of course, everyone that didn't know it was us was wondering who in their right mind would be doing that... 😛

I was thinking about driving to Chicago this weekend, to stay w/ my aunt & uncle over the 4th, as they always have awesome fireworks in their area, I'm told (they live in the Joliet/Plainfield) area... but those plans didn't work out. 🙁 🙁 🙁

Ugh, just feel lucky guys. Here in MN, they passed a law to make non explosive fireworks legal. Pretty much rules out everything but sparklers.

The sad thing is now lawmakers can go "What? You have fireworks! Ones that aren't dangerous!"

Of course, that doesn't stop anyone, but it would still be nice to buy them in state.

Fireworks are overrated. You get disenchanted once your balls drop.
