first compgeeks takes forever to ship my dvd player. then when i finally get it, it just displays "LOAD NG" and the tray doesn not even open!...ahhhhh....(it's a himage 2205 btw).
 
I have never heard of the "Himage" brand. Possibly, you purchased a POS at a ridiculously low price and expected a 2003-model Denon?

I think maybe you should have purchased something other than a "Himage" player then. Caveat emptor.
 
For a moment I thought they forgot to program in the 'I' in LOADING. But LOADER NG doesn't make any sense either. My Pioneer displays whole words 😛 and my friend's Panasonic even tells him to have a nice day.

Send it back and go get a working replacement.
 
i was actually thinking of picking up the player for the karaoke feature.. but good thing i didn't i guess. i got a mintek 2110 instead....if that makes it any better.. haha. what was the problem?

how's the karaoke feature on the thing? i got one from 2 christmass' ago but have yet to use the karaoke part of it. and now i just learned it can be patched.. sweet.. 😀
