Try dial-up at 28.8.

When cable goes down, that is what I have had to use. To darn far from the local Telco site to get above that speed.

What is worse is that I have my settings for AT at the 500/500 max with icons and sigs enabled
Therefore the first page becomes a pain until I change the preferences down to 20/20 and no graphics/sigs
