I'm sad about winter being halfway over. :(

The next 2 months will be our coldest, but then it'll start warming up again. The grass will have to be mowed every week. Wasps will infest every nook an cranny that doesn't get rained on. Then it'll be 90+ degrees F every day for 5 months or so in a row. Fuck spring and summer. I hope they never come back.

I went for an enjoyable hike that I enjoyed. Sunny, mid-sixties, most pleasant.

Was back in Vancouver for Christmas and damn, it so much nicer there. :(

I see.

Don't worry! I made a big pot of homemade beef stew to keep warm. If you need some just let me know because I like sharing.

I like it. I just moved up north and it's nice to have actual cold weather. 65 with 100% humidity in the winter sucks.

Those Canucks really do need to stop sharing their Arctic weather, and leave it up north, where it belongs. If they want to share something worthwhile, share the beer and hot women, dammit!

I'd like an extra helping of global warming, please, Mr. Gore?? :whiste:

California government is the only thing keeping me out of California. Everything else is great.

Shoveled last night when it stopped snowing. Woke up this morning and it looked like I hadn't shoveled a single flake. =(

75 degrees and a few clouds here in San Jose. Everything is awesome about CA except the liberals.

I am updating my thread.

I am still sick of winter.

All week it has been cold and lake effect snow. Today its more lake effect snow squalls and seriously cold temps. We are expecting highs of -20C on Sunday with wind chills nearing -40C.

I hope winter ends soon.

That's about a 4 on the Long John Index. :awe:

I'm supposed to be shooting a hockey game tonight. It's indoors but I'm not looking forward to lugging 40lbs of equipment out of the truck.

I'm starting to get to the point where I'm sick of it, but, I know there's still a couple months to go. At least March is approaching, it will snow a lot, but wont be as cold. I don't really care if it snows a lot any more now that I have a snow blower. In the previous years I got super fed up of it by May. Last year I even gave up shoveling and said screw it. Problem is the hard packed snow was about a foot thick, then it got soft, and the car kept getting stuck.

-40 with the windchill today. Very windy and lot of snow drifts but not really any new snow. 5 on the long john index this morning. Down to 3 now.

This winter has been so long, especially after last winter, I finally broke down and bought an indoor composting toilet. No more -20 outhouse seat!

It's obscenely cold, and windy. The blowing snow across the roads is bad and comes out of nowhere. Had one minor ass puckering moment on the way to hockey tonight.

Unfortunately, I think we're going to have a late spring this year. That's what the meteorologists have been saying. It's been so cold the Great Lakes have above normal ice cover. Not as bad as last year though, fortunately. I don't think we saw normal spring temperatures until well into May.

They've had the 402 closed a few times this week up your way. London always gets bad squalls.

I can deal with the cold but it's that wind that cuts right through you like a rusty razor. My face felt like it was going to fall off after the short walk from the arena to my car tonight. The blowing snow is just icing on the cake.

Cold and windy. I am snuggled by the warmth of a high end gaming rig. Playing The Legend of Heroes. Extra long cord on the game pad so I can weave it thru my many blanket layers.

About 65-70 here today, finally supposed to get some snow tomorrow; it had better be good, because I'm really fed up with the lack of winter around here.

I'm starting to think about going supervillian and setting off a couple volcanoes to get some real winter weather up in here.

We need more cold. -50 or bust.

I've seen -50 without the windchill back when I was in high school. I have never seen it again since though but seen close to that. Anything after -30 all feels the same though. Balls cold.

This is an old screenshot from last year. Perfect weather to put boiling water in a water pistol and shoot it in the air, with laser beams.

I find it odd how the -40 has no weather alert, and the -30 does. Really not sure what dictates if they issue an alert or not.
