I think everyone has seen the first commercial, and I heard the second one on the radio here. Pretty funny.

Yep. Some Quebecers want to separate... I say give them Devon Island (It's a frozen wasteland waaaaayyy up north. NASA uses it to test out their Martian rover-mobile things because it's the closest thing we have to Mars here on earth :) )

Heh, that's pretty funny! :)

I'd like to visit Canada one day. Spend like a week in all of the provinces. I want to find out what's in Nunavut that makes it worth being it's own province.

you mean separatist? Yeah, there is a pretty strong movement by some to separate. The pro-separation party has had referendums twice already and failed to get a majority both times, though the second time was a little close for comfort (51% - 49%).

Nunavut, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories aren't actually provinces... They're territories (don't ask why or what the difference is...)

When Nunavut was created there was no way into or out of it's capital city by road. You had to take dogsled, ice breaker, or bush plane. :)

Yeah, sorry. I'm not feeling well at all. I think I'm going to go pass out on the bed now.

TABERNACLE!!

The worst part is that some people I know actually speak with the same accent and actually use more swearing.

*edit* "know" is a bit much, let's just say "spoken to"
