I'm seeing a lot of threads going on now, which after *a change of culture is coming* would have been locked immediately and large numbers of people banned.

Even though I posted a stupid comment in that thread, I tend to agree with you OP. I have noticed a lot more threads continuing on that I think would have been locked previously.

I am assuming the high-schoolish feel to OT recently is mainly due to the time of year and everything should correct itself by the time Fall rolls around?

Well I do remember Derek saying in one of the threads the moderating would be relaxed a little bit, and some type of auto moderation would help also.


Anyway, yeah, I think it should be locked, but I just don't click on it.

i'm not necessarily against *not clicking a thread* however I feel that it is up to some of the more senior members to help police the place so as to help it to not degenerate worse...

if the members dont police themselves... then we have another change of culture forthcoming, eventually.
