So, have almost never went to Subway in my life and just got hesitant to go there one day. I go in and order some 6 inch sandwich that costs around $3-4. The guy asks me if I want soda and chips, I reply with "Yes." It totals up to around $6.30.

And no, I'm not going there to lose weight because I'm 6'1 and 144 lbs and I need to gain weight. I just thought the sandwiches might taste a little better but $6 for a small POS sandwich, soda and chips?

Id rather get that 3 of those chicken sandwiches on the dollar meal, fries, and soda @ McDonalds.

Comparing actual nutritional value subway would have to be cheaper. I mean, you might as well eat salted cardboard as mcdonalds.

You should ask for a price before ordering. Also, consider that you're eating healthy food.

I think the extra money is worth it. The Subway near me has really fresh stuff all the time.

A Classic chicken value meal is like $5 at McDonalds. It's not that big of a difference.

you pay $3.49 or so for the sub, chips are $1 for the bag, $1 for a pop, which is CHEAP if you think about it, thats $6, and then you have tax, you are at $6.40 or so your rant means nothing.

go to McDonalds, and buy yourself a BigMac Meal you pay $5.50 or so for it, and thats only medium. for <$1 you are getting better food for yourself, and good chips.

if a 6" doesnt fill you, but a foot long, its only like $2 more and is more than ANY mcDonalds can offer you for a big mac.

also, you can add anything you want on top, lettuce etc, sounds like you are a pussy who doesnt put SHlT on his sandwiches

They have these things at most restaurant chains, they're called "prices'. The "prices" are usually listed on a "menu". Th.. you get my point. :p

To be fair, that's probably a local promotion. I haven't seen that in my area, but that is a pretty good deal. The $2.99 6" sub is pretty good as well for the price.

This was one weak-assed rant.

I had Subway recently for the first time in years, and the only complaint I had was that the sandwich really needed more meat.

Subway and fresh don't belong in the same sentence. I can't stand eating at Subway anymore, I've never been inside one that didn't have either really rotten vegetables or stale bread. Quizno's FTW
