I am needing to build A little Tank robot

I am looking to have this thing about 2 average toilet paper rolls put together. Possible even smaller.

I have an idea which DC gear head motor to use. I am just very clueless as to how to build this(What material?) Should i use wood? Cardboard? Is there an online place where i can buy bare bone kits? Thanks for the suggestions.

check out the tamia gear kits, i think they have a dual motor track kit. otherwise use some gear head motors and find some rubber belts for tracks. wood would be bad because of the size, you would need wood what was somewhat thick. use a sheet of aluminum or similar for your chassis. try www.parallax.com for processers and sensors. lynxmotion.com for parts like motors and such. what are you building this project for?
