{{EDIT}} I got Q3 installed and working{{/EDIT}}9.3 is the first build that let me install drivers for my 6800gt and have 3d
enabled, yay!

But I cant figure out how to install Quake 3 :(

{{EDIT}} Did a complete re-install and "fixed" this{{/EDIT}} I set the
root password during setup and used that password once to login as root the
night I installed 9.3, then the next day that password doesnt work, I cant use
yast or login as root to do configuration stuff :(

{{EDIT}} Havent had time to check on this further{{/EDIT}} This one isnt a Linux issue but, when I type my external I.P. address in a
browser I get to the login screen for my router, is this proper? or is something
wrong? (I am talking about a 70.xxx.xxx.xxx i.p. not a 192.xxx.x.x type internal addy)

Otherwise it is working great, got Kmail setup and all the stuff I need to use.

{{EDIT}} Havent had time to check on this further{{/EDIT}} oh, forgot, cant figure out how to play wmv files, I downloaded a couple of archives
relating to win32codecs but dont know what to do with them.

All in all this is my most successful Linux install to date.

:|
Well, I had things working pretty good, but for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to change the dma level of my dvdrw to dma2, the computer locked up and on restart it wont load the o.s., after doing a rescue with the install cd it still wont load :( :|

Have you tried typing your IP address into a browser on a computer outside of your network? What happens then?
